I decided this mess needed containment. It was out of control and making me crazy! It was getting impossible to "clean" up and put up our toys.
So I just cleaned out the cabinet below the TV and purchased a few inexpensive canvas bins from Target and POOF, the mess is contained. Now I just have to teach Paula how to put up her toys every night. I feel like I can breathe again.
