That is, hunting season! We ate or gave away all our elk from Shane's elk last season so I was hoping he'd get another one this year. My freezer is empty and I do not enjoy buying grocery store meat. On his first day to hunt this season he was successful with a bow. So proud of him! It was his first animal with a bow other than a turkey. And it was larger than last year's elk so we have a ton of meat coming next week! Now if I could just get my kitchen done so I can cook a big pot of elk chili. Yay for fall!
