Visiting Texas

We just got home from a week in Houston.  We had SO much fun!  We spent time with cousins, went to the kids' first major league baseball game, the zoo, the children's museum, the park, ate mexican food, played outside ALL THE TIME, and enjoyed a week of fun.  It is always great to see my family and we don't get to often so it was a real treat.   We packed in as much as we could for the week (including lots of yummy food we don't get in Missoula, like mexican, chick-fil-a and Benihana). The kids travelled great!  We were happy to get home though to the mountains and the fresh, cool, non-humid air.  Here are a few pictures from our week.

Waiting for our first airplane ride of the trip

Checking out the airplanes

At our gate in Denver there was one of these moving walkways.  It provided a few trips of entertainment.

Between the ball and the moving walkway we had a blast in Denver

Playing football with cousins

It's not cold in Houston so we can enjoy breakfast outside

Playing on the awesome swingset with Sarah

Paula is desperate for a swingset again.  She played on theirs all week long!

Playing a little soccer too

At the zoo checking out the giraffes

On the zoo carousel, which was very slow compared to Missoula's carousel.  Paula kept saying "this one is NOT very fast"
