Hilton Head Island

We just got home from a wonderful week in Hilton Head, SC!  The kids had a blast and so did Shane and I.  We rented a house just steps from the beach in South Sea Pines right near the South Beach Marina.  We learned that when we go to the beach, we spend as much time, if not more, in the pool, so we have rented a house with a pool the last two times, and it's worth it!  We played on the beach, built sandcastles, swam in the ocean, and swam in the pool and in the hot tub, ate yummy food, and watched fireworks!  My college roommate lives there, so we got to spend time with her and her husband and two boys, and her parents as well.  We even borrowed a babysitter and had a date night with her and her husband.  It was a wonderful week.  The kids loved the beach and can't wait to go again next year!

My cousin lives in NC and drove down to spend the day with us.  She has two boys.  Our kids had blast together!
