Hiking, kind of

This evening we decided to take a little venture to get the mail.  Yes, that's right, our mailbox is at the end of the gravel road at our street, which is .6 miles from the house.  So I decided to pack up little Paula Grace in the backpack and walk to get the mail.  It was a nice late afternoon and wasn't too hot, but I think I underestimated how heavy that pack can get with a 20 lb baby in it!  I have so much respect for Shane carrying her on a 5 mile mountain hike!  But we had a good time and she totally enjoyed it.  We saw three deer and a bunch of turkeys, so it's a regular safari out here!
